The 'Wun-Up'

This is the first 'Wun-Up' press; it was produced in 1949 for Besley & Copp Ltd of Exeter. There was a gap of four years before the second Wun-Up was despatched to McCorquodales. Thereafter, the Wun-Up became a market leader in the business forms industry and over 500 machines were sold.
The press displayed here is a Mark I letterpress machine which was quickly followed by the improved Mark II version.
